FOSTER HOMES:

We are always seeking wonderful warm-hearted families willing to open their homes to a dog in need! We supply pretty much       everything  you'll need - crate, collar & leash, food, medications, etc.  You supply the love!  We have a great group of foster   homes throughout the Merrimack Valley area and beyond.

Typically we forward pictures/info about the rescue dogs who need foster homes, and let our foster families choose if a puppy
or older dog would best fit in their home.  Our puppies are usually adopted within 1 to 3 weeks; adult dogs and some pups
may take up to a month or more to find a good home.

We're pretty flexible with our foster homes.  Volunteers can have a foster dog and once its adopted can take a break or jump
right into fostering another dog!  We can work around your schedule if you have something planned for a particular weekend
as long as you give us sufficient time to find a short-term foster home while you're away.

Fosters can also review applications for their foster dog if they choose and help us decide which home might be best for
your foster dog, or you can just be a foster... and take care of our rescue dogs with love and patience.

We have an upbeat, friendly, positive group of volunteers. We're happy to help each other and share information about the
dogs we have in our rescue program.  We can't rescue dogs without foster homes! JOIN US!

QUARANTINE/ISOLATION VOLUNTEERS

If you're unable to foster, there are still other ways to become involved!  When dogs enter the state of MA, they are required to be "quarantined" for 48 hours at our facility in Groveland, MA. During this time we have volunteers sign up for shifts and go in to feed, water and play with the dogs, and clean their crates. Shifts typically last 1-2 hours and you can volunteer as much or as little as you like.  If interested, please complete the below form.
